Shaggy Ink Cap Mushroom Letterpress Card
A letterpress printed card with an illustration of a shaggy ink cap mushroom. Also known as lawyer's wig and shaggy mane, these species are commonly found in grasslands and meadows and initially have a white bell shaped scaly cap. The common name comes from the unusual way they distribute spores, by slowly digesting their own cap producing a black gooey liquid in which the spores can be disbursed.
Perfect notecards for mushroom enthusiasts, foodies, and those who love walking in the woods.
This is one of a series of Mushroom cards that include: King Bolete, Oyster Mushrooms, Shaggy Parasol, Chanterelle, Death Cap, Fly Agaric, Morel, and Shaggy Ink Cap (all shown in the final photo).
